Rose tea is made from rose petals. It's so subtle and has its own unique flavor profile if you really drink the brew long enough to let all the flavor fully develop in your mouth.
What does rose tea taste like?
Rose tea has a mildly sweet taste. It also has an astringent and a bitter taste. When mixed with the mild green tea, however, it gives off a floral aroma comparable to that of a real rose, and a flavor that is both sweet and refreshing.
What are the health benefits of rose tea?
Aside from smelling amazing, rose tea is a natural herbal remedy with many health benefits. Its long list of proven medicinal properties includes pain relief and skin protection.
How is rose tea being prepared?
Rose tea is easy to make at home. Some brew the petals along with the tea leaves in boiling water for a couple of minutes before removing the herbs. Then, you can add more herbs such as chamomile or mint leaves to further enhance its taste, and even some add honey or other sweeteners. Rose teas are best enjoyed hot rather than cold.
